A Call For Readers

Robert Claus is looking for readers to help create an audio version of his poems about California called Bear Songs. He plans to make audio recordings with different Californians reading his work. Each poem explores specific places, others specific events or states of mind. Each work will be read by a different voice and arranged into a unique audible set that reflects the theme and setting of the piece. The actual recordings will take place in the Bay Area with the finished album slated to appear on Sound Press Records later this year. How To Use This Blog

To read more of what is here, peruse the list of posts and click on what seems of interest to you--it will then appear at the top of the blog. Posts of a particular type from a writer or artist will be grouped together once you click the label below one of their posts.

Also see Index section below. Click one label in the index or archive -- and all posts of that type for that author will then be featured. Posts of a similar type will also be listed next to each other (alphabetically).

COMMENTS:
As editors, we highly encourage comments and discussion. It helps the authors and artists to know others are paying attention. It is our hope this blog can become a lively place where we communicate back and forth.

In order to make comments on someone's artwork, poetry or article etc., please click the word "comment" at the bottom of a particular post.

If you don't already have a Google account, you then need to sign up for one now. The Google request actually will have popped up after you hit comments, asking for your account name and email address--or to sign up if you haven't already.

To sign up with Google costs you nothing. You need to type in your current email address, however that address won't be visible by anyone. You then can take on a pseudonym -- or not. Afterwards there are some letters and numbers that you need to identify so Google can make sure you are who you say you are.

You can write a comment of most any length. And the Google/Blogger system will send it to me to preview it. I am very open minded, however I will not publish posts that are disrespectful of the various authors and artists here. Its fine to disagree, just do so respectfully.
